Tim Shackleton, ChairTim was raised and schooled in Katanning, he then went on to complete a Bachelor degree in Human Movement and a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Administration. Tim has worked in the country health sector for the past 15 years including Regional Director of WACHS - Wheatbelt and as Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Flying Doctor Service. Tim has recently left full time employment to start his own health service consulting business. Tim will bring a wealth of industry knowledge which will assist in improving service delivery in the Wheatbelt region.

Karin Day, Deputy ChairKarin has a background in agriculture and regional development and she is passionate about the future of regional Western Australia. Karin farms in South Burracoppin with her family. Karin is a councillor on the Westonia Shire Council and is involved in many local community, sporting and fundraising groups.

Leigh Ballard

Leigh is the owner of the business Ballards of Narrogin, located in Narrogin. Over the past seven years, he and his wife Sara have grown and diversified the business. Leigh was an inaugural graduate of the Grow Zone Mentoring Program, President of Narrogin Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of several local community groups. Leigh is passionate about his community and about improving business within it.

Mr Anthony Nottle (Tony)

Tony was born and raised on the family farm in the Wheatbelt town of Cuballing. He currently lives and works in Jurien Bay and is the Chief Executive Officer for the Shire of Dandaragan. Tony has been involved in local government for over 11 years and is Chair of the Coastal Midlands Local Government Managers Association (WA) and a Board Member of Regional Development Australia Wheatbelt.

Ms Valerie Ammon

Ms Carmel Ross

Carmel Ross

Carmel lives in Bindoon on a farm that comprises of a commercial vineyard and organic beef production.  She is a psychologist by profession and has many years of management experience mostly in education, tourism and community organisations. She runs a consultancy business and until recently was the CEO at the Benedictine Community of New Norcia. Carmel is Chair of the Board of Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon and a member of the Heartlands WA Board.
