Kellerberrin Recreation Precinct stage 1 completed

Stage One of the redevelopment of the Kellerberrin Recreation Precinct is complete.

The improvements will occur in three stages, and enable all sporting clubs to play and socialise at the Kellerberrin Recreation Precinct.

Stage one of the project has seen the construction of change rooms, a gymnasium, TOTE, dinning room, a meeting room, offices, a board room, crèche, bar, kitchen and two 8 synthetic bowling greens.

The project has so far received funding through Royalties for Regions Country Local Government Fund, the Wheatbelt Development Commission, the Department of Sport and Recreation, Lotterywest, Office of Crime Prevention and the Shire of Kellerberrin.

Acting CEO for the Shire of Kellerberrin Raymond Griffiths said, “Bringing the clubs together or providing a hub centre for Kellerberrin Sporting and Community Clubs means a lot to the community as now when the family participate in a sporting event it is all at the same venue”.
