Outback Brewing Co. and the Bindoon Bakehaus have joined forces to produce a boutique brew, the Banoffee Ale, flavoured by the popular Banoffee Éclair. The decadent dessert was made famous when Prince Harry devoured one after training with the Army reserves in Bindoon a few years ago.
The unique beer is flavoured using 10 eclairs per keg and was featured at the Taste of Chittering at Nesci Estate Wine Farm on 25 August. The collaboration continued with the Token Ginger beer used to create the poached pear chocolate brownie.
Flavoured beers and India Pale Ales are becoming increasingly popular across Australia and the Outback Brewing Co is targeting consumers who like a strong tasting beer with a sweetness.
The Brewery is self-sufficient, using natural gas-fired boiler, solar power and no chemicals. The craft brews including ciders are made with WA rainwater using natural and locally sourced ingredients – farm to froth!
Outback Brewing Co. was the 2019 Winner People’s Choice Award at the Perth Elizabeth Quay Beerfest in January.
