December 13, 2019

The Moora Speedway has launched their final mural on 26 October, providing a unique point of difference for the Speedway. The 19 metre mural is a vibrant and colourful entry statement that showcases Indigenous culture and the history of the Moora Speedway Club. The mural is part of the Central Midlands Speedway Clubroom project, supported by Wheatbelt Regional Grants Scheme 2017 funding of $150,000.

The opening included speeches from Acting CEO, Wheatbelt Development Commission, Gavin Robins; Deputy Shire President, Louise House; Shane Love MLA; the Welcome to Country by June Hedland and Cheryl Chipper who designed the mural, sharing the meanings and stories reflected in the beautiful artwork.
