Opening of Narrogin Health Service

Opening of Mukinbudin and Merredin Health Centres

Agricultural Region MLC Laurie Graham, representing Health Minister Roger Cook, officially opened the Merredin Health Service and the Mukinbudin Health Centre on 1 November 2019. 

The redevelopment of the Merredin Health Service has seen an investment of $23.8 million. The project has been delivered by the WA Country Health Service and includes a new ambulatory care building and upgrades to the medical imaging area, sterilising services, administration areas, the kitchen and laundry. 

The new $3.7million Mukinbudin Health Centre provides increased space and flexibility for visiting health professionals with the development of three multipurpose consult rooms and a treatment room. The Centre also allows for after-hour use of the meeting room for meetings and health education sessions.
